Who we are

Tradernomics is the leading provider of quality trading education for people of all levels of experience who want to develop their trading. We offer courses for CFDs, forex, stocks and futures, all of which are backed by proven techniques and the experience of our staff.

The company was founded in 2006 by two Oxford graduates and a leading software developer, initially to investigate how newcomers to trading could quickly boost their intuition of the markets by using computer simulations. Encouraged by the exceptional results, our product line has grown to include in-depth courses which fully exploit our patent pending trading simulator. Our courses are sold and used around the world.

Stephan Bisse

Chairman

Stephan started his career in the markets in 1988 in commodities. He then spent seven years at Goldman Sachs working in financial futures and options. After Goldman Sachs, Stephan moved to Deutsche Bank, where he held the position of Director in the listed equity derivatives group. After finishing his MBA at the University of Oxford he became the Head of Institutional Sales at Saxo Bank. He is currently the founder and CEO of Tannhauser Gate Gmbh (www.TannhauserGate.ch), a company which develops trading systems for leading hedge funds with over $300 Million under management. He remains an active trader.

Ian Howlett

CEO

Ian has developed leading software with a range of companies including Unisys, FT Knowledge, FT.com and BUPA. He has an MBA with distinction from the University of Oxford.

Richard Hart

CTO

Richard brings a wealth of software development experience to us, having worked on systems used by leading names in the health, automotive, and communications industries. His work at a major healthcare provider revolutionised purchasing and saved the company millions of pounds in costs.
